The Spanish giants have joined the race to sign the 18-year-old Reading star, according to . In his maiden season at senior level, the attacking midfielder has become a key member of the Reading side, having appeared for them in 19 matches across all competitions and scored four goals and provided as many assists.

Premier League giants Arsenal too are monitoring the progress of the youngster and have shown interest in signing the player ever since he turned up against the Gunners' Under 21 side in November. Leicester, Celtic and Norwich had also sent their scouts to Reading to keep an eye on the teenager.
